Dearest Son1
To my dear son,
Thanks for being my best friend. I wouldn't ask for a better BFF because you are the best and a blessing sent from God. You are the reason why my life became even more meaningful.

Nagpapakatotoo na siya , pagkat di naman niya malilihim sa sarili, na gusto niyang kahit minsan lang ay magkita sila ng lalaki sa larawan. Napailing siya nang makita niyang dumarating na si Becky na nakasakay pa sa isang asul na bike.Dali-dali niyang isinilid ang larawan sa envelope at baka matukso pa siya ng kapatid.
" Kanino naman "yan?" tanong niya habang sinasandal ni Becky ang bike sa tabi ng tindahan.
" Kay Kuya Mike," sabi naman nito na ang tinutukoy ay ang bunsong kapatid ng ate Ludy nila na first cousin nila sa mother side." Nagmamadali kasi ako at ayaw kong ma-expose sa sun , baka umitim ako." pabiro pa nitong dagdag.
" Mas bagay mo nga ang maitim," biro niya sa kapatid.
" Oo nga ',te dahil exotic ang beauty ko,"
Pareho silang morena kaya lang ang features ni Becky pang-Angel Locsin samantalang siya parang hawig kay Choi Ji-woo ng Stairway to Heaven.
" Hala, ang lakas ng hangin dito sa tindahan" sabi ni Lani at nagkatawanan silang dalawa.
Palibhasa may lahing Kastila ang tatay nila samantalang kay Aling Mila naman ay may Korean blood sila.
Half-Korean and half Filipino ang nanay nila. Di nga lang sila nakakuha ng fair complexion dito at sa ama sila sumunod na. kahit mukhang Kastila. pinoy na pinoy ang kulay.
" Maliligo muna ako uli ate"
" Oo, amoy araw ka nga,"
Nangako pa si Becky na kaagad siyang babalik sa tindahan pagkatapos maligo para maikwento kung ano ang nangyari sa studio ni Mang Ben.Malalaman na niya kung bakit nawawala ang kanyang larawan.
Nasasabik na nga si Lani na maririnig kung bakit napunta sa kanila ang graduation portrait ni "Mr. Pogi ".

Guhit 24K: Happy New Year Art and A Poem
I remembered one of my poems entitled,The New Day .I changed some parts of that poem to make it mean The New Year.
The new year opens a door
Where a bright tomorrow peeps
Like the wide sandy shore
Where a precious shell sleeps
The new year carries a tune
A romantic song full of life
Like on the month of June
If someone becomes a wife
The new year brings a letter
Which everyone wants to read
Hoping that everything is better
may this 2012 bring what we need.

Last year I started sharing my drawings in my blog Inspiring Series and now through this blog I share some of my kid's works.The idea of filling drawings with stars started when I caught chicken pox last March and didn't know what to do with my spare time.My son saw my work and adopted that style with his art works.
Now, I want to name this style Guhit 24k cause guhit is the Filipino word for draw and of course 24K came from my name.
Note: You can use my son's drawing in your web site with two important conditions: You'll include the source which is this site and don't tell others that you own it.
